CONFERENCE THEMES AND TOPICS

“Integrating Perspectives from Different Disciplines for Current and Emerging Society Needs towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”

The Thailand International College Consortium (TICC) was established in the year 2014, initiated by Professor Dr. Laorsri Sanoamuang, Dean of the International College, Khon Kaen University at that time. The founding members included the International College, Khon Kaen University, Faculty of International Studies, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, and Naresuan University International College. The consortium has since grown to encompass eight member colleges, including Burapha University International College, Prince of Songkla University International College, Hat Yai Campus, International College for Sustainability Studies, Chiang Mai University Digital Innovation International College, and Silpakorn University International College. 

The consortium organizes a continuous series of annual conferences. TICC has the following goals. TICC would like to welcome all international colleges in Thailand to become a member and enjoy several benefits that TICC could offer.

To exchange Thai and international students at both undergraduate and graduate levels among partner universities

Lecturers

To exchange lecturers among partner universities

Research

To conduct collaborative research projects

This year marks the 8th international academic conference of the Thailand International College Consortium, scheduled for February 1st – 2nd, 2024 at the Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada. International College for Sustainability Studies is the host for this 8th conference.”

Topics for Paper Submissions

We welcome submissions from experienced researchers, early career scholars, professionals, and research students in either full-paper or abstract format. Both conceptual and empirical work are welcome. Interdisciplinary papers will also be considered for submission to the 8th TICC International Conference. Proposed topics can include but are not limited to the following broad areas:
